Fee Schedule

There is a fee for professional guardianship services, which the Court must approve when a guardian is appointed. The fees must be reasonable and justified to the Judge reviewing the request.

Private professional guardians retain the services of an attorney to prepare and submit the legal petitions and the guardian orders. The "Ward's estate" is responsible for paying court approved fees for the both attorney and the guardian.

Nevada Guardian Services charges a maximum of $90.00 per hour for services performed by a Registered Guardian, and charges $50.00 to $70.00 per hour for case workers.

When Nevada Guardian Services serves as guardian of the estate, they develop a financial plan and attempt to conserve the person's funds and assets to assure their personal funds last as long as possible. Our staff has many years of experience in Medicaid and other public benefits and can access those benefits to supplement care, or to pay for the care after the Ward's funds are exhausted, to ensure a continuum of care.
